Each tin contains 20 seedballs, and is available in a wide range of varieties (see below for full descriptions).  Each seedball contains seeds, clay, peat-free compost and a hint of chilli powder to deter hungry predators. 

These Wildflower Seedball Tins make for lovely gardening gifts, bee gifts, eco friendly gifts or birthday gifts. They will work well in window boxes, balcony pots, garden beds and wildlife gardens.

Choose from one of the below wildflower seedball tins, each lovingly created with a mixture of native wildflowers:

  • Artist’s Meadow: A selection of wildflower seeds chosen by contemporary artist Yvonne Coomber. Wildlife-friendly wildflower seeds from a mix of Common Poppy, Oxeye Daisy, Musk Mallow, Corn Marigold, Purple Field Scabious, Red Campion and White Cow Parsley. 
  • Bat Mix: A special mix of wildflowers to attract a wide diversity of insects that bats feed on, including flowers that release their fragrance in the evening when bats are most active in our gardens. The mix also has a plants with a combination of long and short pollen tubes and a range of colours and shapes of flower to maximise the number of insects that they attract. A mix of Borage, Cornflower, Corn Marigold, Evening Primrose, Wallflower and Night-Scented Stock.
  • Bee Mix:  Designed to attract honey bees, bumblebees and solitary bees (such as mason bees and mining bees), helping to support the biodiversity and ecosystem of your garden. Bee-friendly wildflower seeds from a mix of Birdsfoot Trefoil, Foxglove, Red Clover, Viper’s Bugloss and Wild Marjoram. We’ve also added a sprinkling of pollinator-friendly annuals Chamomile, Cornflower, Corn marigold, and Night-flowering catchfly.
  • Beetle Mix: The ideal mix to attract ladybirds and pollinating beetles – who are super important to our garden ecosystems. A mix of Common Knapweed, Cornflower, Cow Parsley, Field Scabious, Foxglove, Great Burnet and Yarrow.
  • Bird Mix: A mix of wildflowers that is perfect for attracting birds to our gardens to feed on seeds and insects. Whilst in bloom the flowers will attract insects that many birds feed on, while birds will also feed directly on the plants and seeds themselves. Including Corn Marigold, Common Poppy, Greater Knapweed, Sheep Sorrel, Tufted Vetch and Wild Carrot.
  • Butterfly Mix: Mostly purple, pink and blue flowers is designed to attract butterflies and uses only flowers recommended by Butterfly Conservation. Butterfly-friendly wildflower seeds from a mix of Purple Loosestrife, Forget-me-not, Musk mallow, Red campion and Yarrow, plus a sprinkling of pollinator-friendly annuals Chamomile, Cornflower, Corn marigold, and Night-flowering catchfly. 
  • Cloud Meadow: A selection of beautiful all-white-flowering native wildflowers that are hugely beneficial to bees and especially butterflies, helping to support garden wildlife wherever you live! Wildlife-friendly wildflower seeds from a mix of Meadowsweet, Oxeye Daisy, White Campion, White Clover, and Yarrow. 
  • Cornflower: Brilliantly blue British cornflowers. These iconic and distinctive flowers are fantastic for bees, beetles, butterflies and moths, and are a simply marvellous addition to any wildlife garden. They are also edible with a cucumber-like taste, and can be used in salads, as a garnish or infused as a tea!
  • Great Yellow Bumblebee Mix: Bumblebee-friendly wildflower seeds from a mix of Forget-me-not, Corn Marigold, White Campion, Birdsfoot Trefoil, Cornflower, Poppy and Chamomile. 
  • Hedgehog Mix: Designed to attract a whole range of tasty insects for hedgehogs to feed on, helping to support the biodiversity and ecosystem of your garden. Hedgehog-friendly wildflower seeds from a mix of Yellow Rattle, Wild Carrot, Birdsfoot Trefoil, Tufted Vetch, Self Heal and Poppy.
  • Mum's Meadow: A super wildflower gift tin for your Mum. This limited edition design is based on the  Plantlife Mix– five native wildflowers that are most likely to thrive in the nutrient rich soils commonly found in our gardens. A mix of Meadow Buttercup, Oxeye Daisy, Red Clover, Self Heal and Yarrow.
